In theory, you can be a grand-grand-grandfather at the age of 18, amirite?

Not downing stepfathers here or anything, but I think in this case it is an important differentiator.

Nah, I'm sure the 60 year old daughter would see the 18 year old as her true father! /s

True. A g-g-grandstepfather would be the official title in this case.

Based on the article I just read, she actually didn't get the pension because the man's daughter threatened her, but yeah. This is basically what happened

read the Wikipedia link. there were quite a few. and most of them probably weren't as extreme to extend as long as those did.

Well, there was only one "last" one, though. Lol

That's honestly amazing.

I just looked it up and that basically is what happened except that the old man's daughter threatened her, so she never did get to collect the pension

I'm assuming she married an older man who was in the Civil War long before she was born.

I just looked it up, it's actually pretty interesting. She was born in 1919 so he was obviously way older. He was a widower and she was hired to help him take care of the house. He didn't have much money to give her, so he offered to marry her so that she could get his pension when he passed, and she agreed!

It's legit

Most women can reproduce at 14 and you can get married in most states at 16. You need to pump those numbers up.

Oldest woman alive is 117. So we can go even further by marrying a 110+ years old lady. I think we can at least double the G's by factoring all those in.
