+30 Funny men are way more attractive than super physically attractive men, amirite?

by Anonymous 1 week ago

There was a joke about this somewhere, it went something like "Funny men are dangerous. They make you laugh, and laugh, and laugh, and laugh and BOOM, you're naked."

Then their gone 🤣🤣

Foolishness begets stupidity, so people are curious what the other bacteria are that come from the tainted well

by Anonymous 1 week ago

There is a German word for this, schadenfreude

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Then why say curiosity first if you know it's not curiosity but to make the other person feel worse?

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Some people deserve to be kicked down sometimes. Some people weren't given opportunities to fail enough as a child and without responsibility, agency, or reprocussions you end up like a confused person like this OP. I'm not trying to make them feel worse, but at some point in life someone close to them should try to make them feel better because whatever they are doing is not normal human behavior....which ia why people look and point it out

by Anonymous 1 week ago

It's not even a chick. It's a 12 year old boy

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Bro I just like showing myself what's wrong w that

by Anonymous 1 week ago

It's got nothing to do with that, and it's not a diss. What I mean is if you're a teenage femboy then your psychology with regards to what you find attractive in other boys is going to be vastly different to that of the average person

by Long_Appointment 1 week ago

Ok and this is a place for sharing unpopular opinions so shouldn't that be perfect?

The French expression is "Femme qui rit, à moitié dans ton lit.", i.e., "Make a woman laugh and she is already halfway to your bed."

by mckenzieeffertz 1 week ago

It's definitely true 😌

by Anonymous 1 week ago

As someone who has joined the online dating scene for the first time in decades I can confirm that the words "sense of humour" and "make me laugh" are the most common things to find in almost every single heterosexual woman's profile. Which is ok. But people treat it as if it's more noble and interesting to care about someone's sense of humour rather than their looks. But how is it any different? You are still reducing a person to one quality (whether abs or sense of humour, makes no difference) and judging them based on how well they perform that quality. So. Neither unpopular as an opinion. Nor does it deserve any extra brownie points. Sense of humour is attractive. That's it.

by Lednermekhi 1 week ago

Unpopular? Where? "I like charismatic man" isn'unpopular at all, i may argue tgat looks still plays a role in choosing a partner becouse i personally wouldn't want to date a super intresting woman if she looks like a frog

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Obviously liking charismatic guys isn't unpopular, but imo, being funny is wayyyy better than being physically attractive which I don't see a lot of ppl (at least my peers) that feel the same way. I really wouldn't mind dating an ugly guy if he was funny

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Ok, but once I went on a date with a woman who really wasn't attractive at all. Best sex ever.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

If you're laughing, your eyes close, so you don't realize how ugly we are.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

"I never really cared about looks when it comes to finding a partner" coming from an 18 YO femboy... Really?

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Femboy? That's wild 😂 No offense to them though

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Yeah?? What does that 2nd part have to do w anything at all. Like i said, if an ugly person is charismatic and fun to be around, u can get in my bed

by Anonymous 1 week ago

What exactly do you get out of personally attacking the OP like this, especially over factors that don't actually disprove or invalidate what they're saying?

by Anonymous 1 week ago

by Abagail98 1 week ago

I would not call Mescal or Chalamet terrible or wooden as actors, though they are considered pretty good looking individuals.

by No_Wafer 1 week ago

Yep, it's called the halo effect, it's an extremely powerful phenomenon.

by montyrice 1 week ago

I genuinely don't get what u mean by this

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Okay lemme try again: "If this is true, then why do comedians get way less fangirls than people like brad pitt?"

by silasweber 1 week ago

Dude idfk this is my opinion I'm not saying all women are like this☠️

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Pete Davidson is doing pretty well for how average looking he is. Seth Meyers is another good example. Or Rick Moranis.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

he is 6'3. plus. he's not particularly ugly. he still has masculine features and is not recessed.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Okay, not saying I either agree or disagree with the OP's point but lol Are those your examples? Neither is ugly by any possible means, they aren't smoking hot like Ryan Reynolds but they are your average man.

by carmine57 1 week ago

I think Pete Davidson is very good looking, I know that's controversial but I think he's objectively hot, and would still be if he wasn't funny. Like just his face and body. It works.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Pete Davidson is so hot

by Anonymous 1 week ago

That's why I listed him, he has odd features, being funny "makes it work" because that's his style of charisma. When people say ugly, do they just mean unhygienic? Pete Davidson in a dark lit room would look like a gargoyle. Rami Malek too, unconventionally attractive made much more palatable by his humour.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Rick Moranis is a funny guy and, from what I understand, a really decent human being. I think even he would agree he's never been perceived as a heart throb actor though.

by LightMajestic 1 week ago

You understand that you're blowing it more out of proportion than I am right? An arbitrary point system, which you started dragging respect into and being flippant about, to the point of now being pedantic over it lol. In fact, to the point of name calling. Speaking of respect.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

It's about real life

by Anonymous 1 week ago

I absolutely agree!!!

by Tyresegleichner 1 week ago

I was watching a documentary about comedian life. A woman comedian was complaining about all the "fat goofy looking trolls" getting laid left and right, while she continued to have just as much difficulty meeting quality men as the next woman would, despite having name recognition (I forget who it was) and sharing the stage with those guys. It even held true below the 'nationally recognizeable celebrity' level, she said.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

What kind of humor? Knock knock jokes? Dad jokes? Dry? Absurdism? Observational? I need to take notes.

by Soggy-Equivalent 1 week ago

A good portion of people find attractive people funny and charismatic because they are good looking even if they don't know it.

by Top-Mushroom 1 week ago

This is certainly true for some chunk of women. I'm an entirely mid looking guy but get tonnes of female attention, to the point of having to remind some female colleagues they're being inappropriate in the workplace.

by burdetterogahn 1 week ago

Same goes for women dont worry no one likes a toaster personality wouldnt call it an unpopular opinion

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Thanks for the indirect compliment I guess 😂

by Rude_Farm_2909 1 week ago

A propos of the great Rodney and being good-looking, I still remember what IMHO was his best line : "I went to the doctor and he told me I was too fat and had to go on a diet." "I insisted on a second opinion, so he said: "OK. You're ugly, too!"

by mckenzieeffertz 1 week ago

This isn't unpopular. If you go around and ask women most will say the same. Attractiveness catches the eye but charisma keeps the conversation going. Very few people get married based on their partner's looks

by Anonymous 1 week ago

If you're attracted to someone, that person is way more funny, than the person you're not attracted to. The first thing we are attracted to is physical attractiveness, so conventionally attractive people are more funny to most, than ugly people. Also there's 'halo effect', that make people attach another positive trait to existing positive trait (physical attractiveness). Like generally attractive people tend to be perceived, as also intelligent, charismatic, kind etc.

by Marvinberge 1 week ago

Lmao sure.

by schummberry 1 week ago

That is not an unpopular opinion but just a fact

by Anonymous 1 week ago

For me, funny is fun, but not necessarily attractive. Attractive is in the way they move. The look in the eye. The mind. Well, and yeah, the old connection factor. But let's not get too ordinary here. 🤣😉

by Anonymous 1 week ago

A 6-8 is still pretty high though, and I'd say the majority of women fall into that ballpark. Unless you would date a 1-3 / 10 gal for their humor, we're not on the same page

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Haha I guess not. Yeah I probably wouldn't date a 1-3 just for personality. Idk I think it's kinda cruel to characterize a person as 1-3 and date them for their personality when they could find a person who truly believes they're a 10/10 in all aspects. I'd want my partner to think I was Hella attractive. if I found that they don't really find me physically attractive that would honestly bum me out a lot.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Does sharing memes counts as being funny?

by Silent_Ad 1 week ago

lol i guarantee you if any woman had a choice, they would 10/10 choose Chris Evans over someone like Danny Devito.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Chris evans isn't very physically attractive to me, he's like the typical hottie celeb, which most of them aren't really my type of guy. Idk how funny id find Danny devito though since I haven't seen much of him, so I can't really say if ur right on this. Also, this is about my opinion :) not ‘any women'

by Anonymous 1 week ago

All tell me that I am funny and charismatic (so funny that I make people choke with laughter), I am kind, soft and have conversation and lots of interests. However, ALL women friendzone me. I'm not ugly but I'm average, tall but no muscles and a little belly. I feel so much castrated. I curse my kindness and sense of humour, I wish I were an alpha with a 6pack who spits on the ground, since I find like only them attract women like a magnet. I would trade my brain to a sculptural body and some aggressiveness.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Wouldnt this make men like Ricky Gervais and Chris Rock sex symbols over Chris Hemsworth and Idris Elba

by ProtectionActive 1 week ago

These two things aren't mutually exclusive so it's kind of a stupid comparison. It's like saying that you prefer foods that are high in micronutrients over foods that have unsaturated fats. You're free to value the benefits of nutrients over the value of unsaturated fats, but it's not really a decision most people have to make.

by garett04 1 week ago

100% - I feel that this is a fairly popular opinion

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Jokermaxing only goes so far

by SpiritedPie3287 1 week ago

Someone who matches your humour > looks I was super into a guy once who I did not find attractive at all but oh boy did he get my humour. I was innnnn love and found him super hot with time. On the other hand, I've been with men who were super attractive but our jokes never matched so the chemistry was very meh. One doesn't exclude the other though. I'd say one night stands and hook ups looks matter more but long term I could never be with a hot guy who doesn't make me laugh. My man makes me cry laugh almost everyday and that's a big thing I love about our relationship.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

As a funny guy I absolutely agree

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Buy first you gotta get to know the funny guy, Before you look at the muscle

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Danny Devito is pretty fine. Oh, yeah.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Fortunately, the two are not mutually exclusive 🥳

by Gibsonrene 1 week ago

Really? You think women would rather be with Danny DeVito than Henry Cavill? Don't know about that…

by EntertainerMental 1 week ago

I guess I'm a real catch then because MY LIFE IS A JOKE :(

by Anonymous 1 week ago

I think you should be physically attracted to a person but personality is far more important.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Yeah, that must be why "comedian" is the only category you won't find on Pornhub

by Anonymous 1 week ago

This is a very popular opinion lmao

by Anonymous 1 week ago

OMG OP's profile... they're a literal child 😬

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Yeah, but if you're not funny you can still grow a physically attractive body. You can't become funny somehow.

by No-Hall1652 1 week ago

What's unpopular about this?

by Anonymous 1 week ago

If he's funny but doesn't have a job and leaves with his mom, he's in!

by Express-Dependent363 1 week ago

by Anonymous 1 week ago

You say this like the two are mutually exclusive.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Counterpoint: if a man is funnier than me it turns me off

by king25 1 week ago

I've never been a fan of this concept. I think women like funny flirtatious guys, but not actually funny guys. Just think about what the general population of women are attracted to. Your pop star's, you broody vampires, your bad boys. I rarely hear people talking about attraction to comedians, improv actors, Chandler from friends. It does happen, but it's rare

by JadedYogurtcloset 1 week ago

This is not only unpopular but also a straight up lie... well done.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

If you're a woman it's not surprising at all. Not to be mean.... but it's quite clear that women have very loose physical standards compared to men.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Physically attractive men, who are also funny is what everybody looks for. You don't have to be the funniest guy, you just have to be attractive and somewhat funny.

by Anonymous 1 week ago

Why does it have to be either or? Why can't a guy be physically attractive AND funny at the same time.

by marlee18 1 week ago

People who say this mean that a funny 8/10 guy is better than a not-as-funny 10/10 guy.

by Osborne47 1 week ago

It's generally accepted that a funny (aka charismatic) person is more attractive overall than one who only has looks. Congratulations, you're just like everyone else.

by ecollier 1 week ago

I actually agree with this. I find Conan O Brian, Bert Kriecher, and Tom Segura, for examples, hot. Even though they're much older than me. They make me laugh A LOT, and to me it's hot af. Lol
