Where do you live that this is an unpopular opinion? The vast majority of people are okay with kids having age-appropriate relationships with other kids.

Everybody thinks this except for pedophiles and misguided teenagers who think they are grown adults and want to have a 20-30 something year old BF or GF.

My son is 6 had 2 girlfriends and was even engaged (no diamond ring obviously). People found this cute including the other parents. Other people I talked to found it cute and other kids in his class are doing it to. People are generally positive about it all. Where do you live where kids aren't allowed to date? I'm in Scotland and it. I've never seen any western culture have a problem with it, movies etc so it's generally fine with people across Europe and the North Americas.

I had a girlfriend and plans to get married when i was like 5. We would even kiss, and nobody found it weird, lol.
