I've never heard of nor seen any of those movies specifically, and I probably won't because supernatural horror doesn't interest me, but internet movie critics have always been haters since the dawn of the internet era. When RottenTomatoes opened in 1998, there was just endless hate for all movies of that time - specifically that one Star Wars movie in, I think, 1999 that really started the trend. Welcome to the internet - spicy since before most people here were born.
